Who we are
Our background
Lotus in Bloom Wellbeing C.I.C. grew from The Green Yoga Collective, established to make yoga, breathwork and wellbeing practices more accessible within the community. In 2025, we became Lotus in Bloom, reflecting the development of our work into a broader whole-person approach to health and wellbeing.
Today, we deliver evidence-informed programmes that bring together therapeutic movement, breathwork, relaxation, nutrition education and supportive behaviour change. Our work includes community-based and healthcare-linked programmes supporting healthy ageing, long-term health, physical and emotional wellbeing, and sustainable lifestyle change.
We work with individuals, communities and organisations, developing accessible programmes that respond to the needs of the people and communities we serve.

Our Professional Foundation
Lotus in Bloom brings together expertise in health sciences, public health, psychology, teaching and pedagogy, alongside business and organisational leadership. Across our leadership, qualifications include a first-class honours degree in Health Sciences, a psychology degree, a master’s degree in Business and Managerial Psychology, an MBA and professional teaching qualifications. Qualified teaching expertise supports our capacity to design and deliver structured learning, workshops and training.
Our collective experience spans decades of work across public health, healthcare, probation, social work, specialist charities and community wellbeing. Cultural responsiveness, trauma-informed practice, and equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging (EDIB) inform how we understand people’s needs and create relevant, accessible provision.
Specialist qualifications and training encompass yoga, including Kundalini yoga, Yoga4Health and Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs, alongside Pilates, Nordic walking, nutrition, breathwork, restorative practice and exercise supporting long-term health conditions.
We draw on these multidisciplinary foundations to deliver programmes, education and organisational wellbeing support through appropriately trained and qualified practitioners. Ongoing professional development, participant feedback and evaluation help us refine our work and respond to the people and organisations we support.

Our philosophy
We believe wellbeing is shaped by the whole person - physical health, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle, environment, relationships and community all matter.
Our approach brings together established wellbeing practices with evidence-informed health education and therapeutic movement, creating practical ways for people to support their health and wellbeing in everyday life.
Like the lotus, which grows through challenging conditions and rises towards the light, we believe people and communities can grow, adapt and flourish when they have access to the right support, knowledge and opportunities.
Our role is not to prescribe one way of being well, but to create supportive, accessible environments in which people can develop greater confidence, knowledge and agency in caring for their wellbeing.
Our values
We are here to provide support and holistic health that complements existing medical practices. Everyone has the autonomy of choice in their health and to pick and choose the methods that resonate and align most with their beliefs and values and that is where we come in.
1
WHOLE-PERSON WELLBEING
We recognise that physical health, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle, environment and social connection are interconnected. Our programmes consider the whole person rather than focusing on one aspect of wellbeing in isolation.
2
ACCESSIBILITY & INCLUSION
We believe wellbeing support should be accessible to people from different backgrounds, communities and life experiences. We work to reduce barriers to participation and adapt our approach to the people and communities we serve.
EVIDENCE-INFORMED PRACTICE
We combine established wellbeing practices with health education, professional knowledge and evidence-informed approaches, while continuing to learn from participant experience and outcomes.

COMMUNITY & CONNECTION
We listen to the people and communities we work with. Their experiences, feedback and identified needs help shape the development of our programmes and the way we deliver them.
5
SUSTAINABLE CHANGE
We focus on realistic, practical approaches that people can integrate into everyday life, supporting greater confidence, self-care and long-term wellbeing.
6
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
We use teaching, pedagogy and reflective practice to create structured learning experiences that build knowledge, confidence and practical skills, supporting people to take an active role in their health and wellbeing.
